The lighter version of Twitter named Twitter Lite recently got a new update. The new Twitter Lite v2.0 got the major features like the Push Notification, Night Mode and more. Twitter rolled out the lite version of this app for those looking for a lighter or data-saving experience. The app is of just 3MB and is now available for more than 45+ countries.

Twitter Lite Google Play app is now available in all of the following countries: Algeria, Argentina, Bangladesh, Belarus, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Egypt, El Salvador, Ghana, Guatemala, Honduras, India, Indonesia, Israel, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Lebanon, Malaysia, Mexico, Morocco, Nepal, Nicaragua, Nigeria, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Philippines, Romania, Serbia, South Africa, Tanzania, Thailand, Tunisia, Turkey, Uganda, Ukraine, Uruguay, Venezuela, Yemen, and Zimbabwe.
If we look at all of these newly added features, we’ll notice that all the of them are Twitter Progressive Web App. However, the options to work with 3G/2G connectivity is fairly new. Still, its good that they provided all these features with data saver options.
