Not only did Research in Motion update BlackBerry Bridge and upgrade the PlayBook’s OS, but apparently they approved the official WordPress application for the PlayBook too, for those bloggers out there.
It’s pretty much the same application that you’ll find on BlackBerry handsets, except that you’ll now be able to utilise the larger display. You can create and edit pages and posts, control comments, view daily statistics and more. The application will support self-hosted and WordPress-hosted websites with version 2.9.2 or higher installed. It’s a welcome addition and some Android applications are expected to surface very soon.
