iPhone 7Apple has launched the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, along with the Apple Watch Series 2 and a set of wireless headphones called AirPods. The handsets were announced at the company’s keynote event held at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium. Both the devices will be available starting September 16, 2016 in the US.

As we all expected, the iPhone 7 bears a striking resemblance to the two iPhones that came before it. The iPhone 7 has a 4.7-inch Retina HD display and the iPhone 7 Plus has a 5.5-inch Retina HD display. Both the devices are powered by the all new quad-core Apple A10 Fusion processor. The new chip is 40% faster than Apple A9 along with new hexa-core GPU and runs on the latest iOS 10.

The Apple iPhone 7 and iPhone7 Plus come in Silver, Gold, Rose Gold, Black and Jet Black colour variants in 32GB, 128GB and 256GB storage variants. The company has added the aluminium-finish Jet Black and mirrorless-finish Black variants replacing the earlier Space Grey one.

The Apple iPhone7 starts at $649 for the base 32GB version, 128GB variant costs $749 and the 256GB variant would cost $849. And the iPhone7 Plus starts at $769 for the base 32GB version, 128GB variant costs $869 and the 256GB variant would cost $969.
