AppleJust a few weeks left for iPhone 7 to debut in India and Apple fans have got another reason to celebrate. Apple India on Thursday announced it was slashing the prices of select iPhone models in India. The iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, launched earlier this month in the US, are slated to hit the Indian market from October 7, with prices starting at INR 60,000.

Apple iPhone 6S (128GB variant) which was earlier priced at INR 82,000, will now be available at INR 60,000 after a price drop of INR 22,000.  The iPhone 6s Plus (128GB variant) will see a similar cut and will be available for INR 70,000. The 64GB version of iPhone SE, which was launched in March this year, will now be available for INR 44,000, down from INR 49,000.
