Microsoft India expanding its user reach have lots of consumer oriented services which are now available in India. Microsoft is targeting 25 million new Indian customers with these services who Microsoft expects to get involved with.
Observing the increasing use of devices and accordingly more services, Microsoft had launched their Office Suite on iPad and Android. On May 6, 2014 Microsoft announced the launch of Office 365 Personal which offers the premium cloud first office suite for individual users.
Office 365 Personal allows an individual to connect his/her devices which includes one PC or a Macintosh, one iPad, and any number of smartphones unlike Office 365 Home which offers 5 devices connected at a time which is more suitable for a family. Office 365 is the fastest growing product from Microsoft since its launch with nearly 2 billion business in a very short span of time.
In addition to Office 365 Personal, Microsoft also showcased new functionalities in their existing services. Microsoft had made Skype group video calling absolutely free for the very first time across all the platforms including Xbox One, Windows desktop and Mac. Consumers can use Bing Venue Maps which gives an insight on navigation of buildings for example malls. The service displays interior and exterior maps as a layer on top of Bing Maps, complete with store names and precise location data. urrently Bing Venue Maps allows consumers to search 120 malls and 3 airports (Bengaluru, Mumbai and Delhi) across the country.
Office 365 Personal is available for sale beginning this week at all major retail outlets such as Croma, Reliance Digital and Jumbo Electronics as well as online on the Microsoft Store.
