Microsoft’s MSN appliication for the Apple’s iPad was already available in Canada, Germany, France, and the UK and now the US variant of the app is now live. MSN for iPad provides access to MSN US articles, including an option to download current issues for offline viewing. It also built-in support for photo galleries and various MSN Videos that can be streamed to AirPlay compatible devices.
The interface of the app as one would expect is similar to the international variants of the app and the design reminds us of Microsoft’s Metro concepts for which we have quite a liking, the app combines tiled stories with swipe-through slideshows and photo galleries. The app is free at Apple’s US App Store.
