US-based smartphone maker Blu expanded its product lineup in India with the launch of its new smartphone called Life Mark (L0030EE). The device is priced at INR 8,999 and it will be exclusively available on Amazon in Slate Gary, White and Gold colour variants.

In the last 6 months we have seen many smartphone companies releasing impressive devices at affordable prices to make a mark in the overcrowded Indian market. Undoubtedly Blu has also tried to be a part of ongoing trend by including a fingerprint scanner at the back of the unit for enhanced security which makes Life Mark its first device to feature a fingerprint sensor.

The Life Mark features a 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) IPS display which is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6735 processor clocked at 1.3GHz coupled with 2GB of RAM. The device features a 13-megapixel autofocus rear camera with a f/2.0 aperture, Blue Glass filter, and LED flash module. It also houses a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The selfie camera module has a support of 84-degree wide-angle lens so that you can fit a lot of people in one selfie. The smartphone bears 16GB of inbuilt storage, which can be expanded via microSD card (up to 64GB). The smartphone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system and offers dual sim functionality. With a CNC machines-metal infrastructure, it provides exceptional reliability and thus giving it a sturdy look.

At this price point, the Blu Life Mark will be competing against the likes of Honor Holly 2 Plus which is available at INR 8,499, and the Coolpad Note 3 Lite which comes at INR 6,999.
