Brother Ups The Game With High Speed LED Printers!

Brother India, the name that is most associated with enterprise level printing systems breaks into the commercial home printer scene with their latest offerings – the HL – 3150CDN & MFC-9140CDN, both of which use the new LED technology.

The former, HL-3150CDN comes with an automatic two sided printing feature which is carried out using an LED. The printer is network connected and one can send direct print commands via an app called iPrint&Scan which is available on all platforms. This printer gets added brownie points for it’s ability to print at 18ppm for both monochrome and color.

 MFC-9140CDN is a Multifunction series printer that can can send and receive fax on an ethernet port in addition to offering the same double-sided printing using LED. Print speeds can go upto 30ppm depending on which mode you are printing on. It has a huge toner than can hold 2500 pages and is more connected to Google Cloud and Applesync than the previous one.

Both the printers use ultra low cost cartridges that have optional color refill systems that enable to max out on the number of prints while keeping the cost low.
