We’ve already seen what Google Lens can do by the use of machine learning and AI to photographs in a live, real-time environment. Google takes the next step to integrate the Google Lens to the Google Camera update. With this, the dream project of Google which came out of the Google Photos search option took a one-step lead.
The recent Google Camera v5.2 app update rolled out for the Google Pixel and Google Nexus, now supports Google Lens inside the app itself. Earlier users need to install a separate app to do this job.
However, Google Pixel and Google Nexus devices are not the first one to get this update. They’ve already integrated ASUS devices through the Pixel Master camera app and to Motorola devices through the Moto camera app. Even the OnePlus 6 received real-time Lens within the Camera app in the Android P Beta 2 update.
The Pixel and Nexus finally join the Family with the recent Google Camera v5.2 app update. Users who own the Pixel device can use the feature just by tapping the navigation drawer menu. When you point the camera across any object, the Google Lens will automatically scan them and show a blue dot. Just tap that and you’ll get all the information about that object, place, or anything.
The Google Camera v5.2 is available on the Android Play Store or you can download it from here. If you didn’t find the update at the store you can download the app from APK Mirror.
