Microsoft’s bestselling gaming console Xbox 360 in India observed a price cut on its 250GB model. On April 28, 2014 Microsoft India announced a permanent price drop on the 250GB Xbox 360 and the 250GB Xbox 360 with Kinect.
As we know the Xbox 360 offers an immersive gaming and entertainment experience including the biggest blockbuster gaming titles like the Titanfall and premium Xbox Services like the Xbox Gold.
Commenting on the price drop, Anshu Mor, Director – Interactive Entertainment Business, Microsoft India, said, “We are committed to offer great experiences to our consumers at compelling price points. This price drop on 250GB Sku’s, coupled with our recently launched Xbox Live Gold Rush promo, will provide great value to our community of fans and gamers.”
Microsoft Xbox 360 now after the discount will be available for 21,990 and with Kinect for 31,990 in India along with some freebies which includes free titles or Xbox Live Gold Premium Rush. This 3k price cut is only applicable for 250GB model, 4GB one will be available at the same price.
With Xbox One still lined up for its launch and the sudden disappearence of the Sony PlayStation 4 from the market which was launched in India for ₹39,990, Microsoft still hasa chance to sell these cheaper consoles as observed in the latest quaterly earnings report.
