March 3, 2012 will be marked as a remarkable day in Apple’s history as its App Store downloads crossed 25 billion. Apple got its first one billion downloads in just nine months after the App store was launched back in 2008, and today the App store hit its 25 billion download mark. The individual who hits the 25 billionth download will be gifted with a $10,000 App store gift card like that of the ten billionth download. The winner of the $10K gift card is not listed yet but will be displayed within a few days. The $10,000 can be redeemed in the iTunes Store, App Store, and also iBook Store.
