According to Florian Mueller from FOSSPatents, the social network’s alleging certain IP infringements of its own, claiming that Yahoo has run conflicted with ten of its patents. The patens in question range from ad placement and information arrangements on web pages to privacy tools for managing what information is shown to individual users and instant messaging using email protocol.
