CES is just around the corner and it seems as LG feels the time is right to enter the Ultrabooks section this year, and they have come up with not one but two models in the ultrathin category ready for display at CES.

The two notebooks, the Xnote Z330 and the Z430, will sport the “Super Ultrabook” moniker when they release sometime Q1 2012. The 13.3-inch Z330 will have Core i7, i5 and i3 options and with a claimed boot time of under 10 seconds with its SATA III SSD. The notebook is expected to be only 14.7mm (0.579 inches) thin throughout and weigh no more than 1.21 kg (2.66 pounds). Meanwhile, the larger 14-inch Z430 will have both SSD and HDD options, 12 second Super Speed Boost booting time and Core i7 and i5 CPU options. This particular model will be a bit larger than its smaller sibling at 19.9mm (0.784 inches) thick and 1.50kg (3.31 pounds). Both notebooks will have an impressive metallic cover with a gyro-brush finish.

Additionally LG launched 15.6-inch 3D-capable P535 and 15.6-inch glasses-free 3D A540. We’ll get all the details on CES live from the event ! Also it seems LG has decided to go all guns blazing this new year !
