RIM had already cut the price of their Blackberry Playbook in India by almost 50% for end year sales and had continued the offer even after the year’s end seeing great demand and now again RIM has cut the price of the PlayBook 64GB variant. The 64GB variant, which was available for Rs 24,490 will now be available for Rs 19,990, it has almost sold-out its inventory of 16GB and 32GB variants of the PlayBook and according to reports there are a couple of thousand units of the device left now.
The struggling company is expected to unveil OS 2.0 for the PlayBook next week at CES, which would surely give the PlayBook a new life, and most probably the new OS will enable users to run Android apps on it, so buying the device at such an amazing price will be great. If you want one in India go get it fast as it may go out of stock as its currently selling like hot cakes right now.
