When the powerhouse beast Asus Transformer Prime launched last year, we didn’t expect it fully. We expected to see a bumped up version of the original Asus Eee Pad Transformer, but that was not to be. We’ve heard quite some rumors that a fresh version of the Transformer was coming soon with display and camera improvements, and now we have some leaked images which may turn out to be it.
We have got pictures of an Asus Tablet with the model number TF300T, the original Eee Pad Transformer has the model number of TF101, while the newer offering in the Transformer Prime is the TF201 model. So obviously one would believe TF300T to be higher spec’d than the Transformer Prime, but in reality, it could be the fresh version of their original Transformer.
The back panel of the device seems to be plastic, which further hints it would be lower spec’d model than the Prime. We can expect to see the same dual-core processor that ran the original Transformer, but we could get a bump in the camera and display. The price is what will decide the Tablet’s fate.
