We have good news for the owners of Sony Tablets since their Tablet P and S will be receiving the much awaited Ice Cream Sandwich update next month and Sony even announced a new WiFi only Tablet P.

Along with the latest version of Android, the update will bring some special features like photo editing in the gallery, and panoramic pictures. It will also bring support for Sony Tablet users to watch programs they’ve recorded on their compatible Sony Blu-Ray recorders with a downloadable app.

With the update a new feature will be introduced, the  “Small Apps” which will let users to open any app on top of any other application currently displayed.

The new WiFi only version of the dual-screen fold-able Tablet P will be available starting April 21 for ¥50,000 (roughly $600) and it features the same specs as the Tablet P but for the WiFi connectivity and no data connection. Sony has also offered interchangeable front and back panels in gold, pink, and blue for ¥5,000 (about $60) for those who love customization.
