Samsung makes and sells tablets in almost every screen size imaginable ranging from 4.65 all the way upto 8.9 and 10.1 inches across – so what can the next level possibly be? A recent rumour at ‘Android and Me‘ claims that Samsung plans to double-down on pixels, and create an even larger tablet with a huge 2560 x 1600(WXQGA) resolution screen , and if that wasn’t enough , it will even have a 2GHz Exynos 5250 chip powering Android 4.0 .This is allegedly to be announced at Mobile World Congress next month instead of the expected Galaxy S III smartphone.
Also, speaking of Galaxy S III, SlashGear discovered a brand-new reference to a “GT-i9300” in Samsung’s online support
system. While the phone is not certain to be, it reasons Samsung’s numbering scheme : the GT-i9020 was a Nexus S,
the GT-i9100 was a Galaxy S II and the GT-i9250 is one more flavour of the Galaxy Nexus !
We doubt the high resolution on a 11.6-inch screen (as BGR claims) – and wonder whether they might be mistaking
maximum resolution the Exynos chip supports (2560 x 1600 ) for the actual resolution offered. Nevertheless we would love to
try a tablet with such high pixel density, perhaps with an S pen !
