We have heard that Sony is planning to come back strongly this year, and, according to recent reports and rumors, they are going to release three unannounced phones in Q2 2012, the LT22i Nypon, MT27i Pepper, and ST25i Kumquat. We would therefore expect these three phones to be officially announced by Sony at MWC in Barcelona next month.
Now the folks over at Xperia Blog have come across a photo of which they believe is the ST25i “Kumquat”. Sony (Ericsson) looks to be sticking to the design trends set with the Xperia S as we can see in this leaked image of the handset currently codenamed Kumquat. It carries the sleek styling that had us praising Sony’s newly unveiled handsets at CES.
And rumors suggest that the device include a 3.5-inch display at 480×854, a 1GHz dual-core CPU, and a 5MP camera with 720p video recording. It seems quite certain that we’ll get to know more of the device at the world’s largest mobile show, MWC.
