According to a shipping document revealed Chinese forum site WeiPhone, iPad 3 units are already shipping from China bound for Chicago, Los Angeles, and New York City.
The report after translation says that the iPad 3 units are will be delivered by Foxconn, the Apple supplier beginning March 9. The translation of the shipping document states, “In order to prevent the cargo from being dragged on the airport ramp for too long, as well as shortening the time the cargo stay on the airport ramp, we hereby require XXXX to schedule all the XXX cargo planes from Feb. 26 to Mar. 9. to XXX slot,”
If we believe the reports the iPad 3 would make its way into the market late March and we could still expect the announcement on the rumored March 7 date. The sources also claim that pre-orders could start as early as March 7 or maybe a few days later.
iPad is rumored to feature a HD 2,048 x 1,536-pixel Retina Display, a larger battery, quad-core A6 processor, embedded 4G LTE, an improved rear camera, and a redesigned case.
