Famous for knowing absolutely nothing useful about Nokia, Eldar Murtazin ‘confirmed’ rumours and speculation of two supposed Nokia devices; the Belle running 801 and the Windows Phone running 910. Well, he’s wrong.
Firstly, there’s no such thing as the Nokia 801, it’s not a N9 running on Belle and the images of it surfacing on the web are fakes. There is, however, a Nokia 801T, an 8MP Symbian phone Nokia released exclusively to Asian markets a few months ago, meaning the name is already used and will not be used again, nor will it be used with a new design. Next, Belle still needs hardware buttons, so why would there be a button-less, N9-like, device running it ?

Next, the supposed Nokia Lumia 910 that has a 12MP camera, is also fake. The only image of it, is a Lumia 900 with the rear photoshopped to show that the sensor is 12MP, Damian Dinning, Head of Imaging Experience at Nokia, denied rumours of this supposed device. There is an international version of the Lumia 900, and it will be called exactly that; the Nokia Lumia 900. Whether or not it exists, the Lumia 910 will not be a 900 with a larger camera.

That said, rumours are juicy, but without concrete evidence they’re baseless, just like Nokia’s supposed sale to Microsoft, and the N9 supposedly only having 90,000 units made; both rumours that Eldar Murtazin has ‘confirmed’ over and over again and has never become a reality. He’s just ‘throwing mud at the wall, hoping that it will stick’, and so far, the wall is pretty clean.
