Earlier after the launch of Samsung Galaxy S5 in India, there were certain reports that the handset has already got a price cut. The company later clarified that they have not altered anything and its still selling for ₹51,500 as the MRP. The reduced prices which are available from various offline sellers and ecommerce websites have their own arrangement for the low cost and has nothing to do with Samsung reducing the handset cost.
Samsung bundles a lot of offers with all colors of Galaxy S5. With every purchase of Galaxy S5 till May 31, 2014; the customer will get a gift coupon worth ₹5000 via sms, which is directly redeemable at Samsung India e-store. The coupon is valid till 15th June or till stocks last.
With Samsung Galaxy S5, customers will also get access to free premium and exclusive applications worth ₹34,000. Customers can access these applications from Galaxy Gifts widget on their Samsung Galaxy S5 or through Samsung apps.
Along with this Samsung is also running a buyback scheme in which customers can upgrade to Galaxy S5 on exchange of any working smartphone and avail a minimum rebate of ₹7,500. This offer is valid for a limited period.
