TRA (Trust Research Advisory) which is India’s leading brand insights company issued a report “India’s Most Attractive Brands 2013″. Samsung Mobile bags the first position as the most attractive brand in India. Followed by that the Consumer Durables leader Sony, came second. Nokia being the third most attractive brand in India. Though the winning gap was quite marginal, just around 2%. The South Korean Consumer Electronics leader – LG stood at the fourth place. The fifth position was given to India’s home-grown conglomerate, Tata. The result of this is based on a survey which was conducted with 2505 consumer influencers across 16 cities based on TRA’s proprietary matrix of 36 Brand Attractiveness Traits.

Lux the beauty brand from HUL is given the sixth position nearly 48% behind Tata in Attractiveness Quotient. The gap between the other four brands is just of a single digit. Stating the usefulness of the TRA’s matrix. Brands spend billions in advertisements and marketing trying to be attractive to consumers. TRA’s Brand Attractiveness matrix give brands a methodology and a way in which they can improve their attractiveness quotient.
