We all expected the news of Apple showcasing a smaller version of the iPad – The iPad Mini at the Apple event held on 7th March in San Francisco , but all we faced was sheer disappointment. But still, people have not given hopes on the mini iPad and sources from Samsung have made this belief even more strong.
Samsung and Apple share a “Sweet and Sour ” relationship , because despite of all the patent rights infringements by Apple on Samsung for finished products , Samsung still stands as the first and the foremost choice when it comes to manufacturing hardware for Apple’s devices. So , a news from Samsung employees hints towards their new PLS LCD technology being featured in Apple’s iPad mini . The technology features cheap and high end visibility angle displays. Also, there is a word that Samsung wil be the biggest supplier to Apple for OLED displays for its devices in the near future to come.
