Instagram, the iOS picture-taking app recently ported to Android, has been met with great success so far. With its great success of over 1 million downloads and counting, there is no stopping this once Apple-exclusive app. Even better, still, the developers have made sure to provide the users with continuous updates, bug fixes, and more feature integration in the future. Beginning that promise is a report suggesting they are rolling out an update to the current version to fix a few things.
The recent update to version 1.0.3 has added a few features, so that it is compatible with more devices including some with ICS support, including most tablets. The only drawback as of now is that the landscape mode is currently missing in it. But as the leaks say, it will be coming soon with a future update.
The previous version of Instagram had to increase the size of its memory footprint leading to slow boot up of phones. With this new update, it has been enabled to move to the SD card relieving the phone of the low internal memory problem.
Recent Changelog :
• Open up support to Tablets and WiFi handsets
• Allow app installation on SD card
• Fix audio mute bug during capture
• Several small bug fixes and improvements
