Google+Google+ has finally made some positive changes in their app with the new profile section in the bottom bar. No, they haven’t created a new one, they just relocated the profile section to the bottom bar for better convenience. Google+ tried to bring new features over the past year on both web and device platforms and the new feature added more points to them.

Google+ also added a few more changes inside the Android App-

  • A new fifth feature added in the in the bottom navigation bar named “Profile”.
  • They’ve renamed the “Collections” to “Discover”, same as you’ll find if you directly access the Google+ mobile website.

The additional “Profile” section in the bottom bar is not new. It offers an easy way to get to your personal info, change it, as well as create communities and collections. While the renamed tab, “Collection”, is different from the “Discover” The tab offers you to discover more stuff from accounts you follow while hiding most featured collections behind a “View all” button.

This is not in an update so you can just download and enable the feature. Google+ is slowly rolling out this via server-side update for the users. So you have to wait and see when it rolls out for your region. These are few minor changes they brought for the users, it’s not big but at least its something new they are providing. You can download the Google+ app for Android from Play Store or from here.
