As we already knew the Google Duo’s auto-framing feature was on its way to Samsung Galaxy devices. Following the unveiling of the Galaxy S21 series, Android’s official Twitter account has confirmed that the feature will indeed be available when the new devices become available later this month.

If you don’t already know Google Duo’s auto framing feature ensures that the user is always at the center during video calls. This allows you to talk hands-free and do other things while talking to friends and family. It’s almost like having your own personal cameraman. This feature was previously reserved for Pixel devices before being deployed on Galaxy phones last year.

It’s interesting to note that the Google Duo support page still states that auto-framing is a feature exclusive to Pixel 4, even though that hasn’t been the case for months. Google’s features are often used on Samsung devices, so it’s not surprising to see this feature appear on the Galaxy S21 series. At this point, it would be a good idea for Google to make this feature available on all new Android devices.

The Galaxy S21 series was unveiled last week and is scheduled for launch on the 29th January. There’s already a lot to like in these new devices, including features like WiFi 6E in the Galaxy S21 Ultra, but the addition of features like automatic framing on Google Duo makes it a better deal. This makes the experience more fun and neat.

With the restrictions imposed by COVID-19, services like Google Duo are more important than ever to stay connected. If the Google Duo’s auto framing feature is important to you, then the Galaxy S21 is definitely worth considering.
