Google rolls out its new Android P Beta 3 or in general Developer Preview 4 just after the launch of Android P DP 3. This Android P Developer Preview 4 is available for the Pixel, Pixel XL, Pixel 2 and Pixel 2XL. The new Android P Beta 3 takes us closer to the final version of Android P, due later this summer.
The Android P Beta 3 update brings system images for Pixel devices and the Android Emulator. It also has Android Studio build tools which include D8 as an independent tool. Google said Beta 3 is an early release candidate build of Android with near-final system behaviors with official Android P API’s (API 28). It also has few internal upgrades like fresh iconography, optimizations for stability, latest bug fixes and July 2018 security updates.
Users can download the Beta Preview by enrolling for the beta program. If you’re already a Beta 2 user, you’ll get the wireless OTA update on your device. Users can also update it manually with OTA or Image File. You can download the file from Google’s Android P website or from here.

Google has also announced that the partnered smartphones like OnePlus 6, Essential Phone, Nokia 7, Oppo R15 Pro, Vivo X21 UD, and others will get the update very soon.
This is the fourth installment out of five which were announced by Google. The next one would be the final Android P update which will come in end Q3. Google will then release the stable Android P update somewhere in September.
