Instagram recently rolled out a new feature “You’re All Caught Up” notification on your news feed. It is an algorithmic message to show that you’ve seen all the post of your feed.

The initial Instagram post feed algorithm was to show chronological timeline, so you can see all your friends’ posts scrolling to the bottom of the feed in chronological order. But later that changed to the relevant post first algorithm. After collecting feedback from users, Instagram comes up with a new solution to show “You’re All Caught Up” section on the feed. So the user may not miss a single post.

You’ll now see a “You’re All Caught Up” sign after you’ve scrolled past every post from the past two days. With this change, users will now have better control over news feed, and also they won’t miss anything. This feature is now available on both iOS and Android apps.
