Reliance Jio introduced the all new JioPhone 2 at the annual AGM today. JioPhone 2 is the successor of Jio Phone which was launched last year. The new JioPhone 2 comes with a 2.4-inch QVGA screen, Dual SIM support. Interestingly, Reliance has also added new connectivity features like VoWiFi, Wi-Fi, and NFC which was not in the JioPhone.
It also has a QWERTY keyboard and now supports social apps like Whatsapp and Facebook. The multimedia feature phone features 2000mAh of battery, 512MB of RAM and KaiOS, however, the processor is unspecified.

JioPhone 2 comes at an introductory offer of INR 2999 only and it’ll go on sale from 15th of August. Reliance has not stooped the production of its first generation Jio Phone and it’ll go on sale with the new Jio Phone 2.
