The German electronic maker Metz, after being taken over by the Chinese TV maker Skyworth has entered the Indian market shortly and just launched their most premium TV. It is the Metz M55S9A which has a 55-inch 4K OLED panel and is an Android TV. What is fascinating is that an OLED panel for such a price.
The Metz M55S9A comes with a resolution of 3840×2160 pixels 4K with full support to the HDR content. And with the OLED panel, the display can carry out an insane amount of color variations along with infinite contrast which will give a better picture than other panels out there. Although Sony’s flagship, the A9G is priced hugely at Rs. 2,99,900, Metz has found a solution with this new screen technology to cut down the cost and sell it for an affordable price at Rs. 99,999.
Coming to the specifications, it is powered by a quad-core processor coupled with 2.5GB of RAM and with 16GB of internal storage for apps. The TV runs on Google-certified Android TV 8.0 and also has a built-in Chromecast for video casting from the devices which are compatible. With YouTube and Netflix support natively, you can also download new apps from the Google Play Store.
