Microsoft’s VoIP service got a new version number on Wednesday for Windows PC and OS X. This new version of Skype allows users to sign in via their Facebook or Microsoft accounts. The latest release for the desktop comes along with the release of Windows 8; the app appears as a live tile on the Windows 8 metro modern UI. There’s also multiple chat window support that too on Retina display. Now you can also instant message your Windows Live Messenger, Hotmail and outlook contacts via Skype all in one place.
