The upcoming brand in the mobile handset industry – LAVA International Ltd, recently showcased two of its smartphones in the India Telecom 2013 exhibition. The phones which were showcased were the ‘Iris 503’ and an entry level ‘3G 402’. This event was organized by DoT (Department of Telecom) and FICCI (Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry).

Iris 503:

  • It holds a 5 MP rear camera with auto focus and a 1.2 MP front camera.

3G 402:

One another phone which was showcased by LAVA was the ‘3G 402’. It is a budget friendly 3G phone.

  • Comes with a 4 inch capacitive touch screen with a screen resolution of 480×800.
  • It features Android Jelly Bean v4.2.
  • It is powered by 1.2 GHz Dual Core processor.
  • It runs on a 1,500 mAH battery. The battery is powerful enough to last for long hours even during 3G usage.
  • It holds a 3 MP rear camera and a VGA front camera.
  • This smartphone comes with a 512 MB ROM + 256 MB RAM. This could be expanded up-to 32 GB through external memory card.
