LG today at its annual Tech Show in India launched the next iteration to its curved smartphone G Flex 2. LG had introduced this smartphone earlier at CES, 2015 which was held in January. The handset have been priced for Rs. 55,000 a little lower than the previous generation.
The curved smartphone sports a 5.5-inch full HD P-OLED display. It is powered by a 2GHz Snapdragon 810 octa-core processor and 2GB RAM. It comes with 16GB of on-board storage and supports expandable memory up to 2TB using the microSD cards. The LG G Flex 2 features a 13MP rear camera with OIS+ and laser auto-focus along with a 2.1MP front-facing camera. It is backed up by 3000mAh battery and runs on Android Lollipop 5.0 out of the box with its own custom UI.
The company has made few enhancements comparing to the LG G Flex. The new smartphone feels lighter and slimmer, featuring better specification set, well it has to be called a successor. The question still answered is, where is this going? We know last year’s G Flex was nothing to be called as a success. Let’s see how well is this accepted by the Indian market.
