Motorola Moto E the best low cost smartphone award winner is set to take the Indian market once again with its second iteration launching today. The new Moto E aka Moto E (2015) or Moto E (2nd Gen) had its global announcement last month and has already started in sales in the United States. The budget smartphone was announced in two variants 3G and LTE, but only 3G variant is coming in India today followed by 4G LTE coming soon.

The new Moto E has an improved specification set compared to the former Moto E including better chipset, bigger display, higher on-board storage and front-facing camera. The display resolution though being the same qHD with 540×960 pixels resolution comes in 4.5-inch diagonal length. The smartphone now comes with 8GB internal memory instead of 4GB which was one of the cons of the previous model. The handset comes with 1GB RAM and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor which features a Quad-core 1.2GHz Cortex A7 processor. The smartphone comes with 5MP rear camera and a VGA front-facing camera and runs on latest Android 5.0.2 Lollipop. The smartphone is backed by 2390mAh Li-Ion battery compared to 1980mAh from last time.

Moto E (2015) has been priced at ₹6,999 and will be available from Flipkart.com starting tomorrow.
