The folks at Pocketnow have got hold of a Samsung posted user agent profile, or UAProf, for a device codenamed Samsung Midas with the model number GT-I9300, which makes it certain to be the the next member of the Galaxy S family and likely the Galaxy S III.

The user agent profile doesn’t detail much of the specs in the device but lists the resolution of the display featured in the device as 1024 x 600, a nearly 16:9 aspect ratio which as Pocketnow notes mirrors the pixel count on the recent Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus and Galaxy Tab 2.

It would be rather dissappointing if the device featured the 1048 x 600 resolution display since the Samsung manufactured Galaxy Nexus already boasts an HD display. However, these user agent profiles are said to contain incorrect information, since last year we similarly got across a Galaxy Nexus UAProf which listed the display at WVGA, but we all know what it actually features now.
