Nokia released an official video of the Nokia 808 PureView phone an hour after it was announced in the Nokia Press Event. The video was lead by Juha Alakarhu, who is the Head of Imaging Technologies at Nokia. So many of you still have not been able to accept the 41 MP Camera , I mean you all must be saying “How is that even possible” ?

So I would love to clear how is such a thing made possible. First of all , what the Nokia 808 features is not a 41 MP Camera but a Sensor . The camera though features the highest line of Carl Zeiss Optic lens available out there. The camera in the automatic mode is of normally 5MPx but the output quality of the images is different in the way as “each pixel in the output quality is made up of 8 more pixels“, and thus the output quality is Top-in-Class with superb sharpness . So , with an easy maths one can easily understand now the concept of 41 MP .

Also, the Zooming feature is pretty attractive as one can Window-Crop to zoom and the zooming capability is almost 3 times with no requirements of up-scaling or down-scaling or super-resolution. The Xenon flash featured in the phone is the most powerful yet and the aperture size is also of a considerable size thus rendering insanely high image quality.

Though , we are still unhappy about it running on the Nokia Belle which makes the UI quite sluggish and was easily noticeable using the phone for a while according to some people who managed to get their hands on it. But, still if you are a Camera Savvy guy and really loved your N8 device, then this is the next device to fit in your pocket and probably the most best imaging device out there.
