We all know that the Nokia Lumia 800 is a beautiful all around device but it has been somewhat marred by its battery problems and mediocre camera results against the competition. Nokia rolled out an update for the Lumia 800 improving its battery capabilities and it confirmed that further updates will bring improvements and new features to the camera and now a new Firmware update has been revealed for the Lumia 800 which brings not only the camera improvements but also further battery improvements.
A system software update 1600.2487.8107.12070 which was intended for Vodafone customers using Lumia 800 in New Zealand has leaked and it brings new camera modes i.e. “Smart group shot”, “Panorama”, “Action”, and “Self Timer” modes and improvements too. There are also reports from users that it lowers the battery consumption of the device and brings changes to the phone’s battery diagnostic display. Well we hope this update brings the much needed improvement in the camera performance of the Lumia 800 and some good battery life.
