We all know the Samsung Galaxy S is not getting the latest Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich officially, so, of course, its variants (Captivate and Vibrant) to won’t be getting any ICS love either. However, we have some good news for you: the ICSSGS team at the XDA-Developers Forum have released Custom ICS ROMs for the Galaxy S line. “ICSSGS” is a pure AOSP Ice Cream Sandwich ROM for Galaxy S phones.

The builds are said to be very stable and have very few minor issues which shouldn’t be a deal-breaker. According to the team, “We did not add any modifications unless they were absolutely required to make it work correctly.” They have released three ROMS for the original Galaxy S, Captivate and Vibrant. If you happen to own any of those phones, and you are into these ROMs thing, then hit the source link below and get some ICS love.
