Tasker v5.2The new public update of Tasker v5.2 brings new functions and settings for the users. Tasker is a well-known app amongst advanced users who like automation apps. The new updates features add more points for the users to achieve their goals. The changelog has a very long list but the most notable added features are Custom Setting Support, Immersive Mode, Runtime Permissions, Location Mode and Magisk Root Detection.

Custom Setting Support

The new Custom Setting Support allows the users to customize, control and toggle several settings with a single tap. The Tasker app can create personalized settings menu. When you allow the secure setting permissions on the app so you can automate almost any setting on your device.

Immersive Mode

The new update allows the users to toggle the immersive mode which helps to control and immerse the set of applications.

Runtime Permission

Tasker v5.2

Some of the Tasker activities requires tons of permission to perform that specific action. This new release of Tasker switches over to Runtime Permissions, making it possible to only grant those permissions that are relevant to your particular use case. Like rest of the apps, now Tasker also requires to target API Level 26 by August.

Location Mode

The new update allows the users to set which location mode you wish to toggle to and from. It is handy and one of the most needed update.

These are the few major changes we’ve seen in the new Tasker v5.2 update. This Tasker v5.2 is the major update after the change in ownership. There were few beta updates but this is the big public release after that.
