Honor View 10 Review Honor View 10 was an affordable flagship smartphone launched by Honor back in January 2018. the smartphone featured some of the exciting features like high-end HiSilicon Kirin 970 system-on-chip, Android 8.0 based EMUI 8.0, 6GB of RAM paired with 128GB of storage, 6-inch Full HD+ (2160×1080) 18:9 IPS LCD, dual 16MP (RGB) + 20MP (monochrome) rear cameras, 16MP front camera.

Recently, Honor has announced a software OTA update for the Honor View 10 to BLK-L09 8.0.0.161. This new update adds electronic image stabilization (EIS), call recording, “thermal optimization,” and Ride mode to the smartphone. Honor states that the update will roll out in batches starting from July 24.

It was a major urge by users that the Honor 10 missed both EIS and OIS feature. The lack of EIS meant that videos recorded on the Honor View 10 were prone to camera shake. The update for the Honor View 10 also brings call recording and Ride mode for users. The changelog also mentions “thermal optimization” in it along with the July 2018 Android security patches.
