Tik Tok

The short-form video app Musical.ly which was purchased by Chinese company ByteDance late last year changed its name to Tik Tok. Tik Tok was a similar service created and operated by ByteDance. Now, all the Musical.ly accounts have been migrated to Tik Tok, which offers popular elements of both apps.

If you open the Android Play Store, the formerly known Musical.ly app now listed as Tik-Tok. The developers have kept the name musical.ly inside the description so users may recognize it. If we look at the data, the app has been downloaded more than 100 million times.

The new Tik-Tok app is meant to be a global app, according to its website, Musical.ly. The website is still under the name Musical.ly but just offers links to download the Tik-Tok app. ByteDance intends to keep the focus of the experience on creating and watching short videos set to popular music, but announced several new features are in the works, including video filters that react to users’ movements and “green screen-like background effects.”

Users can download the new Tik Tok-Musical.ly hybrid from the Play Store or the link given below.
